Stylistically about 6-months late on this one – i.e. these are more like summer songs. But hey, I suppose visitors from Australasia can appreciate . Best Coast are the lo-fi darlings of Gorilla Vs. Bear and this song I should probably have posted a while ago because it’s great. Pearl Harbor were recently featured on P4k’s ‘Rising‘ so hopefully we can expect great things from these gorgeous sisters (don’t get any ideas, one of them is only 14-yr old!). Finally, Adam Green – the Julian Casablancas doppelgänger. Great new song from his new album ‘Minor Love’ sounds like prime Velvet Underground. Was a massive fan of the Moldy Peaches but never really got into his solo stuff. Maybe if he wrote more songs like ‘What Makes Him Act So Bad’ it’d be a different story.
