DO THE HUSTLE!
Finally got some of my LOMO film developed – it’s all in random order because I didn’t label the spools or anything. Here’s a favourite of mine so far (from Centennial Park, Nashville), taken on the spur of the moment as well – they’re always the best ones. Let me know what you think of my photaes! Music you say? OK well there’s this guy that calls himself Four Te….. ah but you knew that already – well then you should also know he’s not put a foot wrong lately so you know this xx remix will be good.
For fun I’ve thrown in this disco song by Van McCoy that I heard everywhere we went in the States for some reason. DO THE HUSTLE! Lastly, this great track by a band called Dawes I heard played at the end of an episode of Hung. It went well.

Four Tet is sick…that goes without saying .
This photo is perfect. Damn, you have me trying to remember why exactly I never ended up buying a Lomo when I first heard about them a couple of years ago. Though it’s obvious the magic is not only in the camera. I like how you’ve captured them just as the couple are beckoning for the guy to come over and form a trinity so they won’t have to feel guilty about posing in the odd 2+1 configuration. But their shadows make 4 and 2, so actually everyone is paired up. The one guy, with his 2 shadows, even though alone makes a kind of pair. And so he’s smiling and he’s happy. Just like that, maybe because he sees the world has managed to stay so damn green for one more day, one more sunset, which means their is still hope.
