RANT ALERT! Don’t you find it annoying when bands blatantly rip off other bands? I’ve been noticing it a lot lately when listening to 6music. Now I don’t mean “taking inspiration from and going their own way” – I mean slap-you-in-the-chops rip-off. Can’t remember what the band were called but if they’d sounded any more like Animal Collective I’d have phoned up to make sure they hadn’t got the track name wrong. RANT OO’ER!
There’s only 1 Panda Bear thankfuck, and his new track is such a grower I could swear I’ve been singing it in my sleep. Also NEW RADIOHEAD THIS SATURDAY I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT I’VE ALREADY PRE-ORDERED MINE HAVE YOU? Finally, a choice cut from Siriusmo‘s new album ‘Mosaik’. This song bangs and bangs and bangs and just keeps giving. Holla.

I was hoping for a bit more of ranting but i guess all got said.
I usually find myself sighing or ripping my hair out going through elbo.ws or hypemachine because most of the bands sound like a pale pastiche of something else.
