I stumbled across this ultra lo-fi gem from Young Minds. And finally, RAC have put out their 2nd remix album on soundcloud. You should go listen to it…..I’ll wait…..
It finally happened…. and a day early to boot! Not given it a proper listen through yet but I do like ‘Lotus Flower’ and the accompanying video. Also in my news, long-time friend of the blog Hostage sent over his new track and it kicks and bumps in all the right places…. then decides to slap you in the face with its huge clubby balls. Dope! Finally, just finished watching Spaced again and this Lemon Jelly song rounds off what is probably one of my favourite TV programs ever. DANCE COLIN! DANCE FOR ME!
What I like about Hostage is that he tries his hand at different styles and doesn’t just sit in his comfort zone. Case in point is ‘Sweet Sweet Riddim’ a Prodigy-style rave-a-thon. Impossible not to do the laptop headbop while this is on! APPROVED!
Lastly, but by no means leastly, friend of the blog number two, LS Mitchell, has created a fantasticly professional wee 40-min mix that he sent this way. Seriously, this mix sounds like an ace night out at the Cabaret Voltaire for me! I’d be winding down to bed usually by now but this mix has me doing the feet-tap, head-bob skank!

The internet is a fast moving beast, so the streaming MP3s that are posted may not work after a while due to them being taken down.
