Last post of the week and it’s a good one. First heard this dark and funkadelic Golden Bug jam on Aeroplane’s February Chart Mix. I’ve also been playing The Radio Dept.’s new album to death and this is another highlight that I think I’m allowed to post. Lastly, this Redial remix reminds me of a GRUM remix and that can only be a good thing.
PRIMARY 1 has caught my ear before. Been listening to his Demos that are free to download and some are good, some are great and some are just OK. But I guess that’s why they’re demos…but I can see the potential, and so will you. Here are my favourites, along with the new album track ‘The Blues’ premiered on Gorilla Vs. Bear.
I’m baaaack! Colorado was something else. Pictures we took couldn’t ever do the place justice. If you ever go to Keystone, take my advice and go night-skiing. I was actually getting the hang of it after 5 days – they even started calling me ‘Eddie The Eagle‘.
While everyoneandtheirbigfatmother are busy trying to find new ways to talk about The Knife’s new material, I’d like to talk about a great new album I’ve been listening to. It’s called ‘Astrocoast’ and it’s by a band called Surfer Blood. Reminds me of both the Shins (the voice) and the Whigs (the rest). Agree?
Joy Orbison is on FIRE – another great number. The Fader said it best – “Oh shit we just got pregnant in the club… with someone we have feelings for.” Ripped this awesome Flight Facilities track from Aeroplane’s great new December Mix. Can’t wait to see Aeroplane at NYE!

CanNOT stop playing the opening track from Beach House’s new album ‘Teen Dream‘. Finally, Richmanu has reworked Delphic’s ‘Doubt‘ and transmogrified it into a club banger. You should vote for it to win the remix competition here.

Discovered L S Mitchell on the Erol Alkan Forums. He’s a young man from Jersey and I really like the remixes he’s given me to post. The first is a remix of Gucci Vump and you can’t really go wrong remixing this song [see HERE]. The second is an absolutely awesome remix of Nero’s ‘Act Like You Know’. Turns the clubbasaurus D&B original into a early morning chillout jam.
The internet is a fast moving beast, so the streaming MP3s that are posted may not work after a while due to them being taken down. And since I can't be arsed uploading them all again it's tough shite. I'll always post a link to a downloadable MP3 though. As always, if you like what you hear - away and buy it eh!
