So the Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti album has leaked and it sounds like music post-1979 didn’t happen. If you gave this album and said to me this album is an ‘old classic’ I wouldn’t even bat an eyelid. ‘Bright Lit Blue Skies’ sounds like LOVE circa ’67 [Edit: this song's actually also cover of 60s band the Rockin' Ramrods!] while ‘Can’t Hear My Eyes’ is vintage Fleetwood Mac (think Rumours-era) – all it needs is a crazy Stevie Nicks wail. I’m predicting this one won’t leave my iPod for a while – it has SUMMER written all over it.
