Friday, July 17th, 2009Two legends of music in one week! Just been to see Duran Duran play at Edinburgh Castle!!! They sounded absolutely immaculate. Congratulations mst go to the sound people because they made the band sound flawless live. And FOMG can John Taylor play. Probably one of the most underrated bassists ever… and what a sweet ass.

Just listen to those walking basslines. No wonder they was friends with Chic. Girls On Film is undisputed excellence. The Relfex is my dad’s favourite Duran Duran song (and possibly mine too). I’ve just googled the lyrics a song I liked but didn’t know what it was. Turns out it was Skin Trade from their Notorious album. Best oldie I’ve heard for aaaages. And it was even better live!
